THE EFFECT OF INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS, LOCAL CULTURE, CHARISMATIC LEADERSHIP ON WORK ETHIC, ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND PERFORMANCE OF VILLAGE OFFICIALS ON THE LOMBOK ISLAND

The purpose of this study is to prove and analyze the effect of: the influence of individual characteristics, the local culture, the charismatic leadership to work ethic, the organizational commitment and the performance of village officials in lombok island.
The sample in this research was village apparatus in Lombok Island that consisted of 140 respondents that had been implemented by proportional random sampling, the data analysis used in this study was model of structural analysis of Equation Modeling (SEM) Version 19 by using AMOS 20.01 program. The analysis of the structural equation model of Confirmatory Factor Analysis was to get the value of path coefficient in order to prove the hypothesis.
The results can be summarized as follows:
The individual characteristics influenced the work ethic, the organizational commitment and the performance of village officials in Lombok, while local culture did not influence the work ethic, the local culture influenced the organizational commitment and the performance of village officials in Lombok, Leadership charismatic had effects to the work ethic, the organizational commitment and the performance Village officials in Lombok, moreover, the Work ethic had effects to the performance organizational and the commitment village officials in Lombok, and the organizational commitment had effects to the apparatus performance village in Lombok.
Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the performance of Village Apparatus in Lombok that consist of quantity, quality, timeliness, ability to work and integrityof Village Apparatus can be called as in very high category, the findings in this study bring empirical implications that the individual characteristics, the local culture, the charismatic leadership, the work ethic and the organizational commitment can improve the performance of Village Apparatus in Lombok.
